The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Adoption Problem

Our Why

"Close inclusion gaps and guarantee the use of artificial intelligence for the good of humanity"

The Problem at a Glance

AI adoption is increasing,

but disproportionally

The use of AI is growing rapidly, but access is uneven. Women, seniors, people with disabilities, and other groups report using AI far less than others. The most commonly known AI tools; Large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT,  are changing how we access information, get help, and participate in decisions. Pew Research Centre indicates that in 2025, the usage of ChatGPT and other chatbots among adults in the U.S. is 23%. Notably, this figure is significantly higher among younger adults (aged 30 and under) and individuals with higher education.

Lack of Confidence and Training

The main deterrents for AI adoption typically stem from the stigma of Artificial Intelligence. With a lack of knowledge on how these systems works, mastering it may seem risky and unattainable. This uncertainty often impacts underrepresented communities the most, with training sets severely lacking in inclusive and accessible design.
