Volunteer Opportunity: Podcast Editor

About Good AI NFP 

Good AI is a nonprofit dedicated to closing the AI inclusion gap and ensuring artificial intelligence is used for the good of humanity. We believe in empowering people, amplifying their purpose, and helping them use AI with a positive, human-centered approach. Our mission is to build a community of learners, mentors, and experts who can help each other thrive in the age of AI.


The Role

 Do you have a creative ear and a talent for editing audio?. We are looking for a student volunteer to help bring our "Humanity in the Loop" podcast to life. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience for an aspiring media professional within our international team.

While this is a volunteer (unpaid) position, it is an excellent way to gain experience and contribute to a meaningful cause.


What You Will Do 

You will be responsible for the full post-production of our podcast episodes. This includes:

  • Editing raw audio.

  • Adding music and sound elements.

  • Ensuring a high-quality, professional sound that aligns with our brand's "fear to wonder" narrative.


What We Are Looking For

  • Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).

  • A portfolio of previous work is highly recommended.

  • A creative ear for storytelling through audio.


Commitment

  • 5-7 hours per month per episode.

  • A consistent schedule to meet publication deadlines.

  • Practical AI Skills and Upskilling: Gain hands-on experience using AI tools through workshops, projects and guided exercises. As well as training certification in AI to add to your professional profile.  

  • Contribution to social impact and ethics in AI: Work on initiatives that shape responsible AI practices and help disadvantaged communities benefit from AI. Be part of a movement with tangible societal impact.
