About Good AI NFP

Good AI is a nonprofit dedicated to closing the AI inclusion gap and ensuring artificial intelligence is used for the good of humanity. We believe in empowering people, amplifying their purpose, and helping them use AI with a positive, human-centered approach. Our mission is to build a community of learners, mentors, and experts who can help each other thrive in the age of AI.


The Role

Are you passionate about AI, coding, or web design? We are looking for a technically minded volunteer to help us build smarter, more efficient systems behind the scenes. As part of an international team working at the frontier of responsible AI, this is a perfect opportunity to apply your technical skills to a cause that matters.


While this is a volunteer (unpaid) position, it offers the opportunity to build a portfolio of real-world, mission-driven technical projects.


What You Will Do

You will be responsible for providing tech solutions that support our operations and programs. This includes:

  • Designing simple matching workflows and automating processes (e.g., Excel/Sheets-based automation).

  • Prototyping and developing MVP tools to support our programs.

  • Advising on scalable automation approaches and supporting integrations as our needs grow.


What We Are Looking For

  • Basic web or app development or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Node.js, or Google Apps Script) are required.

  • Experience with database or spreadsheet automation is recommended.

  • A product-minded approach and a passion for building practical, user-friendly solutions.


Commitment

  • Variable, depending on project scope and organisational needs.

  • A responsive availability to engage with the team and meet project milestones.
