Volunteer Opportunity: Program Marketing Manager

About Good AI NFP

Good AI is a nonprofit dedicated to closing the AI inclusion gap and ensuring artificial intelligence is used for the good of humanity. We believe in empowering people, amplifying their purpose, and helping them use AI with a positive, human-centered approach. Our mission is to build a community of learners, mentors, and experts who can help each other thrive in the age of AI.


The Role

Are you interested in a career in marketing? We are looking for a passionate volunteer to help us boost our programs to the public and build a community of responsible AI users. As part of an international team, this is a perfect opportunity to develop your skills in digital marketing and social media management.


While this is a volunteer (unpaid) position, it is an excellent way to gain real-world experience and contribute to a meaningful cause.


Please note: The Program Marketing Manager and 'Human Intelligence' Marketing Manager roles can be merged into one role for more hours.


What You Will Do

You will be responsible for marketing our programs via social media and community networking. This includes:

  • Executing our social media content plan across all channels, including LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram.

  • Scheduling posts, actively monitoring engagement, and interacting authentically with our community.

  • Working closely with the 'Human Intelligence' Marketing Manager and the Programs and Operations Associate to push our programs to the public.


What We Are Looking For

  • Experience managing social media accounts, strong writing skills, and a creative eye for visual content.

  • A passion for responsible AI practices and community-driven, value-led work is a must.

  • You must be responsive and able to engage with the audience authentically.


Commitment

  • 3–5 hours per week, with a commitment to daily monitoring and engagement.

  • A consistent schedule to maintain an active and engaging online presence.
